Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta

It's always nice when you try a new recipe and it turns out to be outstanding!
A few weeks ago I tried a slow cooker Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta. It was so nice to set it and forget. It also had minimal prep time.
Ingredients:
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 lbs of chicken breast
1 small white onion
1 lb fettuccine noodles (I used penne because that's what I had)
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cups Parmesan cheese
Dried parsley
Instructions:
1. Add chicken broth to slow cooker. Add cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, and pepper and stir together.
2. Add chicken breast. Coat in chicken broth sauce.
3. Top chicken breast with chopped onion.
4. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low without opening.
5. After cooking time. Shred chicken breasts with 2 forks. Add heavy cream.
6. Add cooked and drained pasta. Top with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, Stir.
7. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan and parsley. Cover and cook for an additional 20 minutes to thicken sauce.
8. Enjoy!
