What's Up With Creatine?
Many clients ask me what I recommend taking for supplements. I typically recommend clients who are working on building muscle and strength to take creatine.

What is creatine?
Creatine is a substance found naturally in muscle cells. It helps your muscles produce energy during heavy lifting and high intensity workouts.
Roughly half of your body’s creatine stores come from the food you eat. Creatine is especially found within red meat and seafood. The remainder is made in your liver and kidneys from amino acids.

So why should you take creatine?
Well there are a few reasons:
Creatine helps you build muscles.
Creatine helps you build strength.
Creatine helps with muscle recovery.
Creatine helps with your endurance and stamina.

Can I lose weight if I take creatine?
Yes! creatine may cause you to retain some water in your muscles (that is a good thing), but may cause some weight gain. However, you can lose weight as long as you are in a calorie deficit.

Do I have to take creatine?
NO! Just like any other supplement, it is just that, a supplement.

One of my favorite creatine brands is RedCon1! Click the picture to save money! RedCon1 has flavored creatine like the one below or plain. I actually prefer plain because I can add it into different drinks.
